Trooper Group assists governments in curbing their food security issues. Through Private public partnerships with governments, we identify crop that is commercially viable to farm in the country, provide financing for building infrastructure for farming and do the project management for the entire project.
These projects tend to span over 45 years and assist the government in meeting its food shortages and generating forex for the country. The financing modality is designed in such a way that the government does not need to provide any sovereign guarantees.
Trooper has identified that there are serious electricity and power challenges in Africa, however the climate allows for the region to generate its own power that can be sufficient to meet its energy needs. We therefore enter into Private/Public partnerships with African governments, where they provide us with land and other project approvals and off-take agreements. Trooper brings in the investment capital needed to build the large scale grids to generate solar and hydro power which is then fed back into the national grid.
This division covers any infrastructure projects including roads infrastructure, commercial and residential housing.
On the housing division side, we play the role of property investors but take this a step further as we also build houses in the projects that we embark on. We assist government in building homes for their civil servants and in some cases for their citizens as well.
